Ukrainian women express their rejection to the war and ask the Russian forces to leave.
On the 4th of March women gathered at the Central square in Chernivtsi and manifested against the war. The meeting was a response to the unacceptable actions of the Russian Federation. Women declaired their suuport to ukrainian militarists who are in Crimea now. As well they invited people from Crimean peninsula to visit Chernivtsi or other West-ukrainian city.
Nowadays barricades and the camp city at the Independent square in Kyiv attract many tourists. But Kyiv citizens as well like to come there and walk around. They give a big support to protesters.
People who were killed in the center of Kyiv during winter riots are called Heaven's Hundred. On this days many people from different ukrainian and foreign cities come to places where protesters were murdered. They bring a lot of flowers and candles.
Veteran of Afghanistan war in 1979-1989, Olexander Shcherbanyuk, was killed by a sniper on February 20, 2014. He was one of 82 people killed in the Kiev riots. Thousands of citizens join as his body is carried through the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine. People lit candles and young girls threw flowers along the way to symbolize the glory of a hero. The funeral was guarded by civil organizations that appeared during Euromaidan.
Olexander Shcherbanyuk, was killed by a sniper on February 20, 2104 during the Euro Maidan protests in Kiev, Ukraine. He was amongst the 82 people killed in the riots. Thousands of citizens joined as his body was carried through the city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
