Born in 1987, I’m graduated in Journalism at IHECS (Institute of High Studies of Social Communications in Brussels) in 2011, I've also attended a semester at The Danish School Of Media and Journalism in order to accurate my formation in the field of photojournalism.
I am now based in Cairo and currently a photojournalist and multimedia producer for the Egyptian online newspaper Mada Masr. Since August 2011, Frederic Pauwels, Gaëtan Nerincx and I have created the Collective HUMA that emphasizes social issues and puts forward a humanist photography.
The last year I’ve been working in Vietnam, Egypt, Syria and Turkey. I’m covering news but also focusing on long-term projects that are linked to social exclusion.
Since last year, I’ve also worked as a freelancer with the newspaper Le Monde, Libération, Causette, L’ Express, De Standaard, Sydney Morning Herald, La Libre Belgique, L’Avenir, Knack. Recently, I’ve taken part to the Worldpress Photo workshop “Reporting change”.
