Pau Rigol Pau Rigol

Barcelona native, Pau Rigol cut his photojournalism teeth covering protests during Spain’s 15-M Movement with many of his photos being published in a local weekly magazine, and in a book about the movement. He has also worked at the Spanish daily newspaper ‘El Pais’ doing several stories for the newspaper’s Catalonia section. In 2011 Pau went to Egypt to collect material for his thesis on the Egyptian revolution, spending 5 months in Cairo covering the parliamentary election and the ongoing uprising. Recently Pau went to Syria to cover the war and its victims being his work published in Time Lightbox and The Guardian among others. He is currenlty in Nairobi covering the upcoming elections.
