Documentary filmmaker Rachel Beth Anderson follows events during the Egyptian Revolution's "Day of Rage." She documents Friday prayers at the Mustapha Mahmoud mosque in Cairo's Mohandiseen neighborhood, where people gather to pray before taking to the streets with the rallying call of the revolution, "The people demand the fall of the regime." Pitched battles take place between protestors and police as the crowd makes is way through Dokki and towards the 6th of October Bridge to join others in Tahrir square. The headquarters of former president Hosni Mubarak's ruling party, the National Democratic Party, is burned and looted; and the military steps in to keep the peace, welcomed by demonstrators saying "the people and the army are one."

Prominent public figure and rights activist Gameela Ismail gave a brief interview shortly after entering Tahrir Square on January 25, 2011, the first day of the Egyptian uprising. Gameela had joined a march leaving from Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandiseen and arrived in Tahrir Square around 3pm.
