A group of Syrian Army soldiers enter Palmyra city after it was under ISIS control for the past 10 months. Russian sappers working inside the city detonated thousands of mines planted by ISIS. A mass grave was found inside the city with 40 bodies during the de-mining work. The Syrian Army recovered Palmyra from ISIS on March 27th, 2016 after three weeks of violent clashes.
