Nigeria was declared Ebola-free by the World Health Organisation on Oct 19, 2014. Dr. Faisal Shuaib was in charge of managing this national emergency.

When Ebola arrived to Lagos, Africa’s most populous city, in July fears of an “apocalyptic urban outbreak” spread worldwide. But, there was a quiet man with a plan to stop the virus. And he succeeded.
